My name is Gail MacGregor. I am a Canadian professional Pet Portrait Artist, living in the Ottawa Valley. I have over 25 years experience in pet portraiture, specializing in photorealistic handpainted dog portraits, but I also paint other animals and occasionally I have requests for people portraits as well. I work with pastels as I feel it is the best medium to bring out the rich details of my subjects. Your heart has been touched by something that is hard to describe and stays with you forever, long after the time you spent together. As a Pet Portrait Artist it is this spirit of the animal that I seek to bring out in all my work.
